Open Cisco Jabber. On the first login screen, enter your full Exelaonline.com email address. Jabber will search for your profile and services and return with a second login prompt.

Next enter the firstname.lastname portion of your Exelaonline.com email address, and then your password, and click Login.

Jabber uses the same credentials as Exelaonline.com (workstations, Outlook email), which can be reset at https://selfservice.exelaonline.com.

Locate a contact or lookup someone in the Corporate Directory, click their name and select the Chat button.

Search for a contact in the Corporate Directory, click their name and select the phone icon and choose a number to call, or dial a number by clicking the dialpad icon, or entering the number as you would dial it from the search field at the top of Jabber.

Import contacts from searching the Corporate Directory and clicking the Add Contact button.

Under settings (Gear Icon) and the Notifications tab, look for "All incoming calls" and make sure that box is checked.

From Jabber, click the Call Settings icon (phone or monitor at bottom of Jabber client), select the line you wish to forward calls from, and enter the destination number as you would dial it directly. (Note not all users have the ability to forward to a cell phone or external number, if your forward to an external number without the correct rights the callers will just get a error tone)

In an active call, press the … button in Jabber's active call pane, select Transfer or Conference, and dial the number.
